To start off with, thank you so much for making my birthday even more special
with all your wonderful wishes! Trust me guys, it definitely means a lot!
This year since I'm not only getting older but even bigger, I thought it
would be a very normal birthday like any other regular day. But one day before,
to bring in my birthday, my friends came over to wish and surprise me at the
strike of mid night. We ended up having a spontaneous, house party. It was
quite impromptu and fun!
The day started off as it usually does. But my fans like always made it an
exclusive day, an exclusive birthday for me! They sent me a whole lot of
goodies with special messages and wishes. Our house is over filled with lovely
flowers, bouquets, chocolates, cakes, cards and gifts. In fact one of the fans
even sent me a wonderful 'PRINCESS' cake!
It was a very memorable birthday and by far maybe the most special one,
since I'm expecting and next year on we will celebrate all the birthdays as a
family of three, not two!
Hiten is as such bad with giving surprises, but this year managed to pull it
off. With some additional help from my friend of course! I remember a couple of
years ago during Nach Baliye also he gave me a surprise birthday party! That
was another great, fun birthday. This year too he tried his best to assure me a
happy birthday and gifted me a very nice gift. But I guess he faced tough
competition from our fans!
This birthday may be simple but was 'simply' amazing! And once again, a big
thank you to all my fans that once again left no leaf unturned in trying their
best however they could, to see that I turn a year older with a big smile.

Hi guys! Hope all of you are doing well and enjoying life. I'm sure most of you watch movies and munch away on popcorn to kill time. When I used to have time, I did the same I
thought I'll share with you some of my all time favorite Hollywood
movies. There could be a few you may not have seen but trust me, each
of the five are and a must watch in their own way. In case you want to
know what it is like, here is my take on each of the five. Do try
watching them and let me know if it becomes your favorite as well!
Life Is Beautiful It is an Italian language film
which tells the story of a Jewish Italian, who must use his imagination
to help his son survive their internment in a Nazi concentration camp. The
first half of the movie is a whimsical, romantic comedy and often
slapstick. Years later, he realizes that the sacrifice his father made
for him gave him the chance to live on. The movie is a classic and
very inspiring! My complete favourite!
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Jack Nicholson's
acting persona as the heroic rebel McMurphy, thinks he can get out of
doing work while in prison by pretending to be mad. His plan backfires
when he is sent to a mental asylum. He tries to liven the place up a
bit by playing card games and basketball with his fellow inmates. He
convinces the guards that he's crazy enough to need psychiatric care
and thus sent to a hospital. He fits in frighteningly well, and his
different point of view actually begins to cause some of the patients
to progress. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is one of the greatest
American films of all time.
The Pursuit of Happyness This is a rousing, true-life
story of a single dad who went from living on the streets to owning his
own brokerage firm. The hard times and eventual comeback of Chris
Gardner is commendable. He finds providing for the two of them, his son and himself, a challenge. He struggles to work his way from unpaid
intern to something more substantial, even as life continues to offer
him setbacks. This movie is extremely moving and is sure to get you
teary eyed! What a film!!
Cinema Paradiso It offers a nostalgic look at films and
the effect they have on a young boy who grows up in and around the
title village movie theater in this Italian comedy drama. Cinema
Paradiso is a lush, romantic, sensuous ode to the passions of life.
This film captures the essence of a man's life, gently bringing us from
childhood to middle age believably and beautifully.
El Mariachi Kind-spirited guitarist El Mariachi simply
wants to wander through life as his father and grandfather did, with a
song in his heart and a smile on his lips. It is a whimsical comedy
with graphic violence. Another amazing flick!
So...I hope you have seen at least one of these if not all. They all sound great though, don't they? Give me some of your own recommended must see movies. And try catching these five. You're sure to like them too!
